Fans who grew up on Show Stopper hits, Riding For You all throughout the day until we get to the tour, and going multiplatinum on the concert floor as we sing out all the lyrics to Damaged with our besties and our cool auntie who know all the lyrics from practicing over these past years. Formed in 2005 through Diddy’s Making the Band initiative, Danity Kane shot straight to superstardom with their self-titled debut album, landing at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 right off the bat and becoming the first female group in history to have both of their first two albums debut at No. 1. Their follow-up, Welcome to the Dollhouse, gave the world one of the biggest R&B-pop anthems of the 2000s in “Damaged,” cementing their place in music history. After breakups, solo ventures, and years of silence from all the members: they’re finally back — stronger, wiser, and fully in control of their narrative.
