Concert Summary

I can announce to all of you that Amor Prohibido The Tribute Show will be performing at Ace of Spades in Sacramento, California on Saturday, August 8th, 2016. The music of Amor Prohibido and other hits from the late great Tejano Queen Selena will be featured at this Tribute Show. Fans of all ages will surely be entertained by this memorable evening of music as fans of all demographics sing along to dance to the songs of Latin music's most beloved late artist. The evening will consist of fans of all ages enjoying a night of dancing, and great camaraderie with other fans. Amor Prohibido Experience Get ready to rock out to all of the iconic songs that made Selena the Queen of Tejano music including "Como la Flor", "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom", and the title track from the album "Amor Prohibido".

The tribute will perform all of the songs from the critically acclaimed album "Amor Prohibido" which is considered one of the top Latin albums of all time and is still enjoyed by people of all demographics today. The tribute will also perform other hits such as "Fotos y Recuerdos", "Si Una Vez", and "No Me Queda Más". Selena was a trailblazer for female Tejano musicians, received numerous awards for her work including the award for Best Mexican-American Album in 1994 for her award winning album "Amor Prohibido" for which she was the first female Tejano artist to receive a Grammy. Her legacy lives on with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and an induction into the Billboard Latin Music Hall of Fame.
